From here, there are two options to explore pertaining to the "Set Up New Billing Period" section. The first would be to select the "Start now and align Billing Period Start Date with Product Charge Schedule" option from the two. This will allow for the usual proration options when changing a component.

If the "Set Custom Billing Period Start" is selected, then the component billing can be setup to charge on a different next billing date. This will be when an invoice will be issued for this component and billing will occur.

However, if the "Align with Upcoming Charge" is selected, then a list of upcoming charges will appear and the next billing date will align with them. This includes both products and other multifrequency components
