The Airbyte Integration makes it easy to send data to Advanced Billing from any tool in your tech stack. Simply drop in your API credentials and select the data to send over. You can use this data to identify your value metric and build Events-Based Billing Models. You can also use this data to add context to your Advanced Billing analytics in Business Intelligence.
Requirements
To use the Advanced Billing destination connector, you'll first need to create an Advanced Billing account (if you don’t already have one).
Once you have an Advanced Billing account, you can use the following credentials to set up the connector
- A Project ID associated with the site
- A Master API key associated with the site

Step 1: Advanced Billing
If Business Intelligence and Events-Based Billing have not been enabled, please contact support@maxio.com.
Login to the Advanced Billing platform and identify which sites you want to stream data to for Events-Based Billing and Business Intelligence.
Step 2: API Key and Project ID
The Advanced Billing Connector requires your Project ID and Master Key for authentication. You will need keys for each site you plan to stream data to. To get them, please reach out to support@maxio.com.
Step 3: Timestamp Inference
The Infer Timestamp field lets you specify if you want the connector to infer the chargify.timestamp field based on the data from the event that occurred in the source application. This feature allows for historical data synchronization enabling you to fully leverage the power of Advanced Billing's time series analytics. By default, this property is set to true. If toggled off, chargify.timestamp will be set to the datetime when the data was recorded by Advanced Billing.
Step 4: Setup the Advanced Billing destination in Airbyte
Now, you should have all the parameters needed to configure the Advanced Billing destination connector.
- Project ID
- Master API Key
- Infer Timestamp
Connect your first source and then head to the Advanced Billing application. You can seamlessly run custom analysis on your data and build multi-attribute, usage-based pricing models.
