Advanced Billing requires you to “Connect with Square” in order for us to communicate with your Square account.
REQUIREMENTS
When prompted, allow access by clicking “Allow”. The Advanced Billing application will have access to your Square data, and can create customers, payments, and refunds on your behalf.
After connecting, you may change the location with which transactions are associated.

Important Notes
During sign-up, a customer and card are created in Square. If the initial payment fails, the customer and card will be deleted.
Similarly, when a card is being updated, we create a new card for the customer in Square. If there is a past due amount and we are not able to successfully charge it, the new card will be deleted from Square.
CONNECTING TEST SITES
When Merchants connect Square to their test site, it is connected to one, Advanced Billing sandbox for Square that uses USD. Therefore, currencies other than USD do not work on test sites.
