NMI Gateway Gateway Setup Guide

USERNAME AND PASSWORD

To use the NMI gateway within your Advanced Billing account, simply use your NMI username and password to access the gateway within your Site.

REQUIREMENTS

  1. The Customer Vault service must be activated.

  2. DO NOT set “Card ID Verification” to “Is NOT Processed or CVV was not Provided” under Settings → Card ID Verification. This will cause the gateway to reject any transaction where the CVV is NOT sent causing all recurring billing transactions to fail.

  3. In the API Configuration settings, “Use system default API response format” must be chosen. This will include the customer vault ID needed for us to communicate with NMI. If a custom format is chosen, Advanced Billing will not be able to store the vault token and adding cards to Advanced Billing will fail with the message, “Please provide the payment profile token.”

  4. The following settings must be as configured below in order to successfully process cards within the NMI gateway.

Please select from any of the processors from below to use in your NMI account. Each of these processors will allow you to work succesfully with Advanced Billing and our validation processes.
